My baby girl is taking a nap, so I’m taking this chance to write down what’s been on my mind for a while now!
Christmas is just three days away and I haven’t been able to do any shopping yet! shopping! ” Anna” my baby girl starts crying every time I go out to buy something. I cant leave her at home with anyone! She’s been causing some nervous break downs through out the family, she’s getting seriously attached to me, but that’s another story…
I’ve been anxiously looking for posting more of my Christmas stories from the sequel teach the children “Happy In The Heart Of Jesus!”but that seems almost impossible now, because of my newborn. but I know that some of you have been waiting to read more, so I promise to post more after the holiday’s even if that comes a bit late, but Its never late to teach our children all the moral and religious values that the lord has taught us in the form of fun and simple stories.
Another point that’s been on mind as well, is the outrageous theft that happens around the holidays! Why is everything so expensive by this time of the year! A plastic Christmas tree costs 400$! Not to mention the price list of all the gifts and even the food! This is outrageous! When mother Mary gave birth to our Lord Jesus, she did it “in a crude stable. She wrapped the baby in cloths and placed him in a manger.” Do you know how much it costs to decorate a sample crude stable and place it under you Christmas tree!
Please don’t misunderstand me people, I’m not a cheap person, but I’m logical enough to think that the needy and the poor are more deserving of all those expenses we pay around Christmas which goes directly into the pockets of large, rich incorporation most probably managed by mason leaders who are anti -Christ to begin with!
Now here’s another thought, ask your child this ” What does Christmas represents to you”and most probably you gonna here the first word goes something like this “Santa”! or “Gifts“!
Santa has been the popular figure that children wait for all year long, and that’s very healthy for a child. But we as parents have been committing the horrible mistake of not explaining the real meaning of Christmas to our young generation! The child must know that Christmas is to celebrate the birth of our savior, he who has endured all the pain of the world just to wash our sins away and save us. And perhaps we should, as adults, study the real story of Santa in order to be able to put things in better perception for our young ones: The true story of Santa Claus begins with Nicholas, who was born during the third century in the village of Patara. At the time the area was Greek and is now on the southern coast of Turkey. His wealthy parents, who raised him to be a devout Christian, died in an epidemic while Nicholas was still young. Obeying Jesus’ words to “sell what you own and give the money to the poor,” Nicholas used his whole inheritance to assist the needy, the sick, and the suffering.
